All of the rooms have ensuite bathrooms, and come complete with an impressive array of facilities such as tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen television, wireless network, trouser press, central heating and the most beautiful soft towels I have ever felt in my life.

The bed part of the bed and breakfast is superb, and the breakfast is equally as good.

Jack spent a number of years on board various cruise ships as a chef so he knows how to cook up a mean breakfast.

Amongst the wide variety of choices that are laid on for breakfast is the almost legendary "Full Monty" cooked breakfast. This has taken the traditional full English breakfast and turned it into an art form.

There are other choices you can have for breakfast like toast, cereals, fruit juice, porridge etc., but you would be denying yourself an experience if you didn't sample the "Full Monty" at least once.

All the local facilities are within walking distance, and you will find that you are ideally located with a short 5 minute walk taking you to most areas.

If you feel like travelling further afield, the motorway is less than fifteen minutes drive away, which provides quick and easy access to the lake district, and the beautiful Trough of Bowland, an area of outstanding natural beauty, is approximately 30 minutes drive.

Whether you're travelling by car, bike, or on foot, if you're planning a day out, you can request a packed lunch and it will be provided for you.

Off road parking is available if you are travelling by car, and for the cyclists amongst you, we have a secure storage facility for your bikes.
